Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) – St. Albert the Great

Cub Scout Pack 7322 from St. Albert’s will be hosting Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) on Saturday, October 21 from 9:00 AM to Noon on the school playground. 1250 Wyoming Avenue.
Not a Scout, come check out the fun you can have or link to “BeaScout.org”. Join the Scouts for breakfast at 8:00 AM. RSVP encouraged.

Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) is an annual event that provides an opportunity for millions of Scouts around the world to meet on the air via amateur radio 1. During the event, Boy and Girl Scouts and Guides from all over the world speak to each other by means of amateur (ham) radio. Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared via radio waves 1.
The 2023 JOTA will be held from October 20-22, 2023 1. The event is expected to attract more than 2 million Scouts from over 170 countries 2.
