The re-opening of St. Peter Canisius was beautiful day of warmth and joy for our diocese, but also a day of remembering Sir Thomas S. Dolan for his generous contributions to the building of the church. During the last hours of project completion, the church was dedicated in memory of Tom.

Both the Consecration of the church and the first Mass were held by Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg and Father Edgar Villanueva. Thousands of people demonstrated their love and care for the parish and for Tom by attending the mass and celebration that followed. Thank you to all who helped contribute to the building of the church with your offerings, your time and volunteering.
