Nevada Catholic Conference - Advisory Video - A Message from Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg
The Nevada Catholic Conference (NCC), in March of this year, prepared for the parishes of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas and the Diocese of Reno a ‘Decline to Sign’ informational flyer and bulletin insert related to the signature campaign that was underway for the ballot initiative seeking to expand and enshrine abortion in the Nevada State Constitution.
As the requisite number of signatures for the ballot initiative sadly was reached, the Nevada Catholic Conference now provides a short updated advisory video for you to share with the faithful of your parishes.
With an introduction from me as Bishop of Reno and Member of the Catholic Conference, this advisory comes from the official public policy voice of the Roman Catholic Bishops in the State of Nevada.
La Conferencia Católica de Nevada (NCC, por sus siglas en inglés), en marzo de este año, preparó para las parroquias de la Arquidiócesis de Las Vegas y la Diócesis de Reno un folleto informativo y un boletín informativo de “Negarse a firmar” relacionado con la campaña de firmas que estaba en marcha para la iniciativa electoral que buscaba expandir y consagrar el aborto en la Constitución del Estado de Nevada.
Como lamentablemente se alcanzó el número requerido de firmas para la iniciativa electoral, la Conferencia Católica de Nevada ahora proporciona un breve video de asesoramiento actualizado para que lo compartan con los fieles de sus parroquias.
