Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is dedicated to addressing the root causes of poverty by encountering and accompanying those living in poverty on a journey to economic equality and the realization of a meaningful and purposeful life. We help people of all cultures and beliefs rise up out of poverty and overcome the barriers to self-sufficiency. We do this through a broad range of services through our St. Vincent’s Food Pantry, St. Vincent’s Dining Room, Battle Born Housing Plus residential program and a variety of human service activities that focus on addressing basic needs, crisis intervention, case management, and individual and family support. We also offer services through our robust Immigration Assistance Program. Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada has been serving individuals and families for over 75 years across all 12 counties served by our Diocese. While we are affiliated with the Diocese of Reno, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency. We are part of the nation’s largest social-services network through our affiliation with Catholic Charities USA, which serves more than seven million people each year. OUR MISSION IS to work together to respond to unmet human needs so all can thrive.
With food, clothing, shelter, and a helping hand, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada brings hope to people in order to build spirit and self-reliance within them and within our community.
