ON FiRE is a Catholic youth ministry kickoff event held at Six Flags hosted by the Diocese of Sacramento and sponsored by the Dioceses in Northern California and Diocese of Reno.

The day was composed of Mass, Adoration, Confessions, a talk by Katie Prejean McGrady, music by Joe Melendrez and Josh Blakesley Band, and rollercoasters! Youth from St. Rose of Lima, St. John the Baptist, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Gall’s, St. Michael’s, and Our Lady of Snows attended.  

This year, 1,700 youth and young adults came to the event from around Northern California and Nevada. About 130 attended from our Diocese of Reno.

At ON FiRE, youth experience true joy where teens and young adults encounter Jesus through Mass, Adoration, Confession, and talks. On top of that, they get to go 90 miles an hour upside down with friends on rollercoasters! Why not sign up for this exciting event next year!?
