Thomas S. Dolan’s papal honor was first announced at the Diocese of Reno Annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet on April 26, 2024 where he was recognized amongst the Catholic community he serves. His formal investiture as a Knight of St. Gregory the Great took place on June 15, 2024 at St. Thomas of Aquinas Cathedral in Reno, Nevada. During this ceremony, Mr. Dolan was presented with both a medal and sword to commemorate his papal knighthood from Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg.
