The Catholic Services Appeal is the direct annual appeal to the people of the diocese to make a gift and support the mission and ministries of the Diocese of Reno. The appeal provides Catholics opportunities to support a wide range of ministries and programs that benefit more than 80,000 people each year. These ministries reach many different people. Your gift reflects your commitment to furthering God’s work, enabling us to train future leaders of the Church, support religious education for young people, strengthen parish ministries, and support the clergy and seminarian education.

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?  Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.
